Advancing Financial Inclusion.
Strengthening Women Inclusion
The Global Institute for Inclusive Financial Futures (GIIFF) works with banks, financial institutions, and leaders to strengthen inclusive finance through human centred design, practical strategy, and systems thinking.
We help institutions move from access to meaningful use, trust, safety, capital, and long term value for women and underserved customer segments, while supporting stronger customer relationships, business growth, and more resilient financial outcomes.
We bring global expertise in inclusive and digital finance, responsible AI, financial safety, and access to capital.
Better Inclusion. Better Banking. Better Outcomes.
Financial inclusion should create real opportunity
Women and underserved customers should be able to use financial services with confidence, access credit and capital, grow their businesses, remain financially safe, and participate fully in the digital economy.
We works with financial institutions to turn this vision into practical strategies and measurable results.
Our Pillars
Women in Leadership
We support women to grow, lead, and take part in decision-making across banking, finance, and digital services.
Inclusive Financial Products
We work with financial institutions to better understand how women use financial services, where barriers exist, and what can work better.
Better Financial Services
We support financial institutions to improve customer experience, build trust, and make financial services more accessible and responsive.
Financial Safety
We support safer financial systems that can better prevent and respond to economic abuse, fraud, scams, digital harm, and financial exploitation.
Digital Finance and AI
We explore how digital tools and AI can help expand financial inclusion, improve services, and create new opportunities in a responsible way.
Data and Results
We support the use of data to understand gaps, track progress, and improve outcomes for women and underserved customers.
Access to Credit and Capital
We help strengthen access to credit, business finance, and other financial opportunities for women and women-led businesses.
Knowledge and Evidence
We bring together research, practical experience, and global lessons to help financial institutions understand what works. We support learning that can improve programs, products, and services and help institutions make better decisions.
Good Practices and Peer Learning
We create opportunities for financial institutions and partners to share experiences, practical solutions, and lessons learned.
Why Financial Inclusion Matters
Financial inclusion is a foundation for resilience, business growth, and economic opportunity. According to the World Bank’s Global Findex Database 2025, 79% of adults worldwide have a financial account, yet 1.3 billion adults still do not have one.
The next challenge is moving beyond access so underserved communities can use financial services safely, access credit and capital, build resilience, and participate fully in the financial system.
